We are currently looking for a stellar Head of Digital Sales to join us. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales for the Americas to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth.

Skills and Experience we desire

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the e-commerce, payments or fintech industry, demonstrating a proven track record in generating new net and recurring revenue. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker and a strong manager who can expand, inspire and coordinate a high-performing sales team part of 2Checkout now Verifone.

As the Head of Sales you are part of the 2Checkout global leadership team. This role can be based out of one of the many Verifone offices in North America or can be performed remotely, with frequent travel to visit new and existing merchants.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Revenue Growth:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand our customer base.
  • Develop a new Sales pipeline, managing new and recurring revenue streams for both sales-assisted and self-service sales channels.
  • Expand and recruit the local Sales team, contributing to the steep growth path of 2CO.

Team Leadership:

  • Develop and lead a team of Sales hunters in digital commerce.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the existing digital sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Coaching and mentoring, 1:1 meetings, shadowing, facilitating on-the-job or dedicated training sessions.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive new business and expand share of wallet of our existing portfolio of recurring clients.
  • Driving strategic product development, internal processes optimization
  • Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and threats.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the payments or fintech industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in driving new net and recurring revenue.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to recruit, inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Has a broad network in the e-commerce industry.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Deep understanding of the e-commerce or online payments and fintech landscape, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
