What's exciting about the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP BO Analyst/Developer to join our BI team. The successful candidate will analyze and visualize complex data sets using SAP BO, provide actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making across various departments. The candidate will support SAP BO as a shared service across the enterprise with diverse data sources such as Oracle EBS, Oracle, SQL Server and others. As a SAP BO Analyst/Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide good technical skills for the specialist stream.
• Providing end-to-end support (user requirements gathering, Front-end dashboard/report development in, Documentation of Metrics/Dashboards and providing end-user Training.
• Assist with architecture analysis and designing of sustainable solutions; and deliver projects as part of the BI Team.
• Drive change across the business with application expertise.
• Work with business stakeholders in identifying business requirements for reporting projects and supporting business with any issues or incidents.
• Document business requirements and deliveries in a continuous manner.
• Ensure timely and sustainable solutions delivered to support business requirements.
• Interacts with other internal departments such as database administrators, web technologies, identity management, and outside consultants to deliver scalable and highly effective analytic solutions.
• Promotion of reports/universes/users along with security settings from lower to higher-level environments following Change Management processes.
• Building WEBI Reports and Universes based on project demand.
• Tracking, troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of End User incidents and tickets; resolves customer issues within the service level agreements.
• Participates in and contribute to the implementation of best industry practices

What's exciting about the role

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience as BO Developer.
• Should have experience in creating Universe using IDT and Designer, Rich Client reports and Live Office reports.
• Experience in Web Intelligence and Publication.
• Strong knowledge in SAP BI 4.2 and above.
• Familiarity resolving WEBI issues such as conditional formatting, input controls, ranking, standard formatting, filters, data mapping/ reconciliation, and other report functionalities.
• Working knowledge on Oracle Database is mandatory.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL queries is a must.
• Knowledge on Oracle PL/SQL Procedures, packages and query formation is a plus.
• Knowledge in Oracle ERP (Financial and Supply Chain) and/or Amdocs CRM is a plus.
• Strong analytical mind with good communication & interpersonal skill.
• Customer-oriented; can work independently and deliver multiple small to medium initiatives or projects.
• Willingness to learn new technologies at an accelerated pace.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned.
• Must be able to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, when necessary.
