What's exciting about the role

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer/Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Tableau Developer/Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to provide insights into our organization's data. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into effective Tableau visualizations. This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization best practices, as well as proficiency in Tableau Desktop and other related tools.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Report development.
• Design, develop, conduct unit testing, and maintain complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
• Provide technical expertise in areas of Reporting architecture, Design, and implementation.
• Determine the best implementation that will meet the design of the architect.
• Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team.
• Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations.
• Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding and style guides.
• Experience in Production Support environment and should be aware of standard change Management and Deployment processes.
• Addressing Business Requirements via support tickets and adhere to agreed SLAs.

Skills and experience we desire

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6-8 years of proven experience in developing and working Tableau-driven dashboards, and analytics.
• Should work on various advanced Data Visualizations for KPI Reporting.
• At least 3+ years of Experience in working with Data warehouse, Oracle EBS or Salesforce source systems.
• Experience/Exposure to other Reporting tools – OBIEE, Business Objects or Power BI is preferred.
• Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of the workbook.
• Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture.
• Advanced Tableau development skills required and should have knowledge on Best Practices and adhering to Coding standards.
• Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions.
• A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management systems, data modeling and normalization
• Strong Problem solving, Analytical and communication skills to collaborate with Business.
• Attention to detail and accuracy and should be able to work in fast paced environment by collaborating with external teams.
