What's exciting about the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to manage and oversee the life cycle of contracts within our organization. This role is crucial for ensuring that all contract terms, billing schedules, and price increase triggers are accurately understood, tracked, and executed. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of contract management, particularly within industries that rely on annual contracts or Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
Responsibilities
- Review and manage the full cycle of contracts, including annual contracts and MSAs, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Identify and track trigger points for billing, price increases, and other key contractual milestones.
- Collaborate with relevant departments such as Finance, Sales, and Legal to facilitate the accurate execution of contract terms.
- Maintain an organized and accessible database of contracts and related documents, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records.
- Conduct regular audits of contract files and systems to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare reports on contract status, upcoming billing schedules, and price adjustments for management review.
- Assist in resolving contract-related issues and work closely with stakeholders to clarify terms and conditions.
- Support the negotiation process for new contracts or renewals by providing insights and analysis based on historical contract data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field, or equivalent experience in contract management.
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of contract management principles, especially regarding MSAs and annual contracts.
- Understand basic revenue recognition policies and how they tie into contractual agreements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software (Conga Software as a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Experience in the high-tech industry or related sectors.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and billing procedures related to service agreements.
- Certified Contract Management Professional (CCMP) or similar certification (preferred but not required).
