What's exciting about the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Partner Integration Leader to drive and manage the successful integration of Verifone payment devices with our partners' software solutions. This role is critical in enabling seamless payment experiences by aligning business objectives with technical solutions, ensuring partners can effectively leverage Verifone’s capabilities within their platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Leadership: Own the end-to-end integration process for partners utilizing Verifone terminals, including solution design, technical onboarding, implementation, testing, and go-live support.
- Partner Engagement: Serve as the main technical point of contact for external partners, guiding them through integration best practices, SDK usage, API interaction, and compliance requirements.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams including Product, Engineering, QA, Compliance, and Support to ensure integration success and partner satisfaction.
- Solution Design & Documentation: Translate partner requirements into clear integration strategies. Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and configuration best practices.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot complex integration issues, working proactively with both internal teams and external partners to identify root causes and resolve blockers.
- Project Management: Manage multiple partner integration projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met.
- Technology Evangelism: Act as an advocate for Verifone integration capabilities and influence roadmap based on partner feedback and emerging market needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical integration, partner onboarding, or solution engineering—preferably in fintech, payments, or SaaS.
- Deep understanding of payment terminal ecosystems, specifically Verifone (e.g., Engage, Android-based models) and their APIs, SDKs, and communication protocols (e.g., USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi).
- Experience working with POS systems, payment gateways, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS).
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple technical initiatives and interact with both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points For:
- Hands-on experience with Verifone development environments (e.g., Verifone terminal SDKs, Verifone Estate Manager, Verifone Cloud Services, or VHQ).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud integration (e.g., AWS), and mobile/web-based point-of-sale solutions.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Asana.
- Previous background in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
