What's exciting about the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, customer service oriented individual with a strong interest in technology. The job includes customer service, operation and maintenance of computer systems. This is a varied role that in addition to the aforementioned areas could evolve to include service on payment solutions and you'll collaborate with several areas of our business (Customer support, Project management, Engineering, Marketing, Finance etc.)

The successful candidate should have a customer first attitude and be able to think outside the box, providing ideas and seeking support of other teams to quickly obtain an outcome for the customer. This is a changing role as we introduce new products and processes, and team feedback is important in ensuring we move forward and continue to grow stronger as a team.

Availability to start within 1-2 week is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing service and maintaining effective communication with partners, suppliers, and customers
  • Delivering operational support for technical systems and web servers
  • Managing and supporting internal systems and IT services
  • Contributing to the strategic planning and development of new services and technical solutions
  • Collaborating with specialists to analyze and resolve technical issues
  • Performing various ad hoc tasks as needed

Skills and Experience we desire

  • 1-2 years in a customer focused role with a strong technical aptitude
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced studies in system administration are considered an asset
  • Solid technical expertise in networking, scripting, and database management
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including phone and email correspondence
  • High sense of responsibility with strong follow-up and problem-resolution abilities
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing environments
  • Familiarity with payment systems is a plus
