What's exciting about the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager to oversee both conventional and vertical sales activities across Turkey. This role is focused on driving innovative business solutions and promoting the latest initiatives in the payment industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, partner management, and strategic sales planning capabilities.

In this hands-on role, you will lead a mobile, field-based sales team and work closely with key clients, regulatory bodies, and a wide partner network. You will play a critical part in expanding our market presence, ensuring regulatory alignment, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through in-person engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and supervise a high-performing, mobile sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets
  • Plan, assign, and monitor daily field operations and territory coverage
  • Oversee both conventional and vertical sales efforts across Turkey
  • Develop and execute market strategies aligned with the Turkish payment systems landscape in coordination with Sales and Marketing teams
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with direct-to-merchant clients, including local retailers, CRM companies, and OEM manufacturers
  • Act as the key liaison with the Turkish Revenue Administration to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with ECR (Electronic Cash Register) operations
  • Monitor and enhance product performance, user experience, and operational KPIs across the ECR product line
  • Identify and cultivate growth opportunities and strategic partnerships in the cash register and retail technology segment
  • Handle customer feedback and ensure quality service delivery through face-to-face interactions
  • Report weekly and quarterly to the Regional President, General Manager, and global management team
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts from weekly to annual outlooks
  • Coordinate regional technical requirements with appropriate global stakeholders
  • Provide continuous field feedback to Product Management for solution alignment and innovation

Skills and Experience we desire

  • Minimum 7 years of product sales experience, with at least 2 years in a Sales/Marketing Representative role.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the payments industry and relevant products landscape
  • Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities.
  • Skilled in conceptual and strategic sales techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and partner management experience.
  • Experience in high-growth or emerging markets.
  • Familiarity with payment systems compliance and local regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to travel frequently across assigned territories
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and remote access tools.
  • Fluency in English is preferred but not required
