What's exciting about the role

This position offers the opportunity to work on the cutting edge of payment technology, contributing directly to the development of Payware CMS’s web module and APIs at Verifone. You’ll be part of a collaborative team driving innovation in enterprise software architecture, with exposure to modern frameworks like Spring and microservices design. Your work will have a direct impact on global transaction systems, helping shape secure and scalable solutions used by millions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key developer for the WEB module and API’s of Payware CMS.
• Develop and implement new software requirements based on business and technical specifications.
• Provide ongoing support for production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and support teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in software quality and performance.

Skills and Experience we desire

• Proficiency in Java Enterprise
• Experience with Spring Framework for building enterprise applications and mapping objects to databases
• Experience with JBoss application servers
• Mastery of software architecture concepts, including micro services and RESTful APIs for communication between services.
• Familiarity with development environments such as IntelliJ or Eclipse
• Experience with UNIX/Linux
• SQL expertise
• Familiarity with Oracle and PostgreSQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in a similar software development role
• Intermediate English proficiency (technical reading and documentation)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
