About the role
Provide enterprise-wide support by administering Atlassian tools, managing ServiceNow–Jira migrations, optimizing systems, automating processes, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating with DevOps for stable, efficient pre-production environments.
What you’ll do:
- Provide support for internal users across enterprise tools.
- Administer and configure the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), security tools, and other Verifone applications, including workflows, permissions, automation, and integrations.
- Lead and support ServiceNow to Jira migration projects, ensuring smooth data, workflow, and process transitions.
- Support pre-production environments and collaborate closely with DevOps and Engineering teams.
- Monitor system performance, application health, and integrations to ensure stability.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and drive system improvements.
- Develop and implement automation solutions to reduce manual effort and remove bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to security standards, licensing requirements, and audit obligations.
- Create and deliver training, documentation, and best practices to end users.
- Manage Black Duck (SCA) and Polaris (SAST), ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines for vulnerability detection and license compliance.
What qualifications will you need to be successful?
- Atlassian (Jira, Confluence): Advanced administration, customization, system integration, and migration from ServiceNow to Jira.
- Black Duck & Polaris: Expertise in vulnerability management, compliance scanning, and CI/CD integration.
- Scripting & Development: Strong in Python, Groovy, and C# for automation and reporting.
- DevOps & Cloud: Hands-on with CI/CD (Jenkins), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and exposure to AWS/Azure (preferred).
- System Administration: Skilled in Linux and Windows environments, including upgrades, patching, and performance monitoring.
- Observability Tools (advantage): Familiarity with New Relic, ELK, Zabbix, and Grafana.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, customer-centric mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
