What's Exciting About The Role
The Sales Manager, SMB leads our Small and Medium Business sales function in Finland and is accountable for driving revenue growth within this channel. This role oversees the full sales lifecycle - from coaching and developing the team, to managing pipeline and forecasting, to ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will build, guide, and coach a team of Inside Sales Representatives with focus on achieving and exceeding company targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage our SMB sales offering and overall performance.
- Oversee the sales pipeline from initial leads through to qualified prospects, ensuring steady progression and accuracy throughout
- Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members.
- Convert qualified opportunities into signed contracts, including negotiation and contract management.
- Ensure all pipeline activities, follow‑ups, and sales motions are executed effectively and on time.
- Drive account growth by following customer roadmaps and identifying cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across our product and service portfolio.
- Develop business plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals.
- Initiate and coordinate action plans to enter new markets and expand into new channels.
- Support the creation and execution of marketing plans when required.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.
- Coach and mentor Inside Sales team members to elevate performance and capability.
- Provide insights on new applications or enhancements for existing products.
- Identify and develop new market segments using both existing and new product offerings.
Skills and Experience We Desire
- Degree qualified in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of Information Technology, including software, hardware, networks. Payments experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to sell and influence at C‑level.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams.
- Skilled in coaching Inside Sales representatives.
- Deep knowledge of the sales cycle and pipeline management.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with external partners to meet customer expectations.
