What's Exciting About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Strategic Partnerships Intern to support Verifone’s Global Partnerships & Business Development organization. This intern will assist in nurturing key partner relationships, supporting partnership operations, and contributing to initiatives that accelerate ecosystem growth.

This role will provide exposure to partnership strategy, competitive research, cross‑functional collaboration, and real‑world experience working with partners who influence the payments industry.

Schedule and Duration

This is a part‑time, paid internship. Interns are expected to commit 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate academic or professional obligations.

There is no fixed end date; the internship is structured around meaningful, project‑based work designed to provide hands‑on learning. Based on mutual interest, internship duration may be extended or expanded to support additional strategic initiatives.

Because our partner ecosystem spans multiple regions, occasional collaboration with global stakeholders may require meetings outside standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Strategic Partnerships Team in managing and supporting partner relationships.

  • Assist in evaluating new partnership opportunities through data collection, analysis, and preliminary assessments.
  • Help maintain dashboards and trackers that report partnership KPIs, performance metrics, and engagement health.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, capturing action items and supporting next steps.
  • Contribute to the creation and distribution of internal communications that highlight partnership achievements, announcements, and strategic wins.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Strategy, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
