As Veson’s PR & Communications Manager, you would play a vital role in representing our brand, voice, and key messages on a global scale. Working across multiple solutions, you will collaborate with C-suite and business leaders to set the communications strategy and lead on execution.

Veson has an aggressive global growth strategy and is looking for a dynamic and tactical PR &Communications Manager to help achieve our goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee public relations initiatives across all Veson product lines and brands, collaborating with industry media and internal teams.
- Work closely with business leaders and SMEs to design the PR & Communication strategy, plans, and messaging.
- Manage inbound inquiries for comments, data, and insights from the media, and work with internal resources to coordinate and timely and accurate responses.
- Manage Veson’s press release calendar, ensuring a consistent cadence of content representing new client business, partnerships, product updates, and company news.
- Oversee and execute our editorial content, developing relationships with industry media outlets, and helping establish Veson as a go-to source for relevant commentary.
- Manage and monitor social channels, primarily LinkedIn and Twitter, for Veson and its owned brands, collaborating with the content, creative, and demand generation teams to align on strategy and messaging.
- Establish KPIs and benchmarks for our brand reach and engagement, and continuously track and measure program effectiveness to refine strategy and drive results.
- Stay current on the latest applied strategies and technology for driving awareness and engagement across all types of media platforms.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in a communications or PR focused role within global commodity trading, maritime commerce, or similar industry
- Experience operating on a global scale, representing multiple lines of business
- Innate professionalism, interpersonal skills, and good instincts when operating in high-pressure situations
- Outstanding writing and communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Positive, collaborative mindset
